My college degree was in German Literature, but my profession was interior design. As project manager for a commercial design firm I often put in twelve-hour days sprinting around construction sites. I am now retired and, along with my husband, an empty-nester. And I now have time to devote to my writing, and my obsession with the tales of the characters in my books. My writing tends toward contemporary and historical romance novels that are a bit humorous, dark, and erotic, which hopefully brings my readers both laughter and tears. I love to incorporate my personal experiences, and those of my close friends, into narrative threads that are especially close to my heart. When I am not lost in reveries wherein my heroines and heroes stumble over obstacles before they live happily ever after, I enjoy reading, photographing, painting, indulging in TV or movie marathons, and traveling.
